Vauxhall Insignia VXR
The Insignia VXR is Vauxhall’s powerhouse version for the Insignia range. The Insignia VXR while discrete in appearance is powered by a tuned 2.8-liter twin scroll turbo charged engine delivering a whooping 325 hp and 435 nm of torque. With all this power you can achieve a 0-100 km/h in less than 6 seconds and go on to a limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The Insignia VXR comes with 3 driving modes. Standard, Sport and VXR mode. Standard mode is the default mode when starting the Insignia VXR. Sport mode stiffens the suspension for a more firm ride. Although we have to admit we could not feel any difference what so ever! VXR mode on the other hand stiffens the suspension, sharpens the steering and improved accelerator response time. When in VXR mode you feel a performance difference and the car’s reaction time improves considerably. |
